About Camp Pawprint

Everything you need to know before you pack your tent.

The Details

What is Camp Pawprint?

Camp Pawprint is a furry-community group camping event being held at a group site at Paul Lake Provincial Park, approximately 25 km northeast of Kamloops, British Columbia. This is our first ever event and we're keeping it small, casual, and community-focused.

This is not a traditional furry convention. It's camping with other furries in a genuinely beautiful part of BC. Think of it as a long weekend with friends you haven't met yet.

Power & Connectivity

This is a remote campsite and power is extremely limited. We have access to power from on-site EVs for emergencies and essential charging only. Please plan accordingly:

  • WiFi available via Starlink dish (shared bandwidth)
  • Very limited power from EV charging — bring a portable battery pack
  • Power is for essential use only — cameras, medical devices, lighting
  • Do not expect to charge multiple devices continuously
  • Bring your own batteries if you need reliable power

Who Can Attend

  • 19+ only. Government-issued photo ID will be checked at check-in. No exceptions.
  • Fursuiters, partial suiters, and non-suiters are all equally welcome
  • All genders and identities welcome
  • This is a private campsite within a public park. Please keep noise and behaviour respectful of other park users
  • No minors, no exceptions — the event is not suitable for children

NSFW Policy

Camp Pawprint is held in a private campsite within a public provincial park and is visible to other park visitors. What you do privately in your own tent is your own business — we're not here to police consenting adults in private. However:

  • No public NSFW content, displays, or activities
  • No NSFW imagery on worn fursuits, signage, or shared spaces
  • Private behaviour in private spaces is your own business
  • Be aware that we're in a public park — other park users may be present

Getting There
Two campsites share this name. Use the map on this page — do not rely on GPS alone.

The campsite is about 25 km from Kamloops city centre. Carpooling is strongly recommended as parking is limited — there is no transit service to the park!

Carpooling coordination will be available closer to the event date via your attendee dashboard. Kamloops Airport (YKA) is the nearest airport with connections to Vancouver (YVR) and Calgary (YYC).
